William D. Koch, Project Manager, Heavy Lift and Construction Projects
Employed since 1953 as a crane operator, Mr. Koch has performed estimating and project
management duties for more than 30 years. He is responsible for the estimating, planning
and management of multi-million dollar construction and rigging projects. Presently, Mr.
Koch is Lockwood Brothers primary representative to such companies as Jefferson Lab, Ball
Metal, Smithfield Packing, Newport News Shipyard, Canon, Howmet, Busch Gardens
Williamsburg, Water Country USA and many others.

Will L. Phillips, Project Manager, Heavy Lift
Mr. Phillips has been with Lockwood Brothers for over 22 years. He has planned and managed
numerous crane and rigging projects in and around the Hampton Roads area with a particular
emphasis at the NASA Langley Research Center at Langley Air Force Base. Prior to becoming
a project manager, Mr. Phillips worked with Lockwood Brothers\' ironworkers in the field.
With this experience, he brings a \"hands-on\" practical approach to his projects. Mr.
Phillips has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Randolph-Macon College.

John N. Schaffner Jr., Project Manager, Marine Division
Mr. Schaffner has been with Lockwood Brothers for over 20 years. He has planned and
managed numerous marine oriented projects covering the Atlantic East Coast, Great Lakes,
Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi River system and the Caribbean Sea. His area of expertise is
in maintaining relationships with other suppliers within the marine industry. Mr.
Schaffner has Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History from Vanderbilt University
and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Virginia.

Paul Schifferli, Project Manager, Heavy Lift and Intermodal Transportation
Mr. Schifferli has been with Lockwood Brothers for over 12 years. He brings over 40 years
experience in all phases of heavy hauling and rigging, facilities relocation, warehousing,
and marine transportation. He is Lockwood’s liaison contact for General Electric,
Siemens, Alstom Power and the Virginia Ports Authority.

Lynn Whitesell, Project Manager, Intermodal Transportation
Lynn joined the Lockwood Team in the spring of 2014. He has over 35 years of experience
in the Transportation Industry, having previously worked for a Major Class 1 Railroad’s
Management Team. Lynn has an extensive background in railroad operations, over dimensional
cargo and his experience with cranes and heavy equipment blend nicely with the services
provided by Lockwood Brothers. Since joining the Lockwood team he has been involved with
rail shipments, heavy haul moves, and roll on roll off transports involving tug and barge
services. Lynn assisted with a major project where Lockwood Brothers received over 72
pieces of heavy lift cargo at a local marine terminal, stored and later loaded on Lockwood
Barges, transported and delivered to the construction site.
